The Bakery Workhorse – with Roller Bar Agitator is perfect for mixing bun, bread, bagel, rolls, English muffin, tortilla, pizza crust and other yeast raised doughs. Shaffer's dough mixers are offered in the traditional enclosed frame design and the innovative sanitary Open Frame design. Shaffer’s unique direct drive design decreases maintenance and lubrication points, as well as reducing transmission noise and vibration. Shaffer’s exclusive bowl design, the Superbowl™, provides a shorter mix time and more surface area for better bowl cooling and dough temperature control. Shaffer offers the lab mixer in single sigma, double sigma or roller bar agitator styles. The open frame design allows for quick and easy sanitation and clean-up. Capacities up to 100 pounds.
Certain mixing applications require a continuous mixer, slurry mixer or holding tank. Cake batters are an example of a product which requires a continuous mixing system.

E.T. Oakes Continuous Mixers aerate or homogenize slurry to produce a highly stable and uniform cell structure. Mixers can combine two or more liquids, or simply improve texture where aeration is not required. Oakes Mixers have a proven lifetime of forty years or more and are both energy efficient and labor saving. Throughputs range from 10 to 14,000 lbs/hour.
The unique design of the high shear rotor/stator mixing head is the key to consistent final densities. Oakes Mixers can homogenize or aerate slurry with a minimal heat rise.
